The moment has finally arrived: we can confirm that the first complete Bird Buddy units have successfully gone through the production process which means we are going to be ramping up production in the next 6-8 weeks to our maximum weekly capacity of around 6,500 units.

This is a monumental step for our team and something we have been working towards for over a year. Thank you for all your support and patience while we worked to get to this point!This also means that we are currently staying on schedule for the first deliveries starting in May.

There were roughly 10 days of delay caused by a complete lockdown in China due to Covid in the week we were planning to start this first run. It wasn’t just us that were affected as both Foxconn and Tesla, amongst others, were forced to halt production that same week as well.

We will of course keep you posted on any updates as they happen. In the production environment, we are now shifting gears into final integrations and polishing the final details, making sure that things work as intended before we start delivering the first units.
