Yippee, Bird Buddy is CES Awards Honoree!

Every January, the largest technology event on the planet takes place in Las Vegas, and the team at Bird Buddy is absolutely thrilled to be invited. We’ve been recognised in not just one but three categories, and we can’t wait to show off what our smart feeder can do.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) brings together innovators from around the world every year in a hugely influential trade fair called the Consumer Electronics Show, now known simply as CES, where an elite panel of industry expert judges face the Herculean task of reviewing thousands of submissions, each vying for that recognition in their field. On 10th November 2021, Bird Buddy found out that we have been named as CES® 2022 Innovation Awards Honoree in three categories: Smart Home, Digital Imaging and Photography, and Software and Mobile. We couldn’t be more delighted for our hard work to be recognised this way.

Our built-in technology gives you the chance to see all those beautiful birds who will come by your feeder, not only granting you exclusive access to some birds you may never see otherwise, but also being able to treasure every visit as collectible images and video clips. The device handily tells you when you need to top up that food those birds love, and you will even be able to switch between each other’s devices and streams across the world. There’s never been a more exciting time to be part of these amazing advances in engineering, design, and functionality.

We know Bird Buddy will help people all over the world enjoy nature even more, and to be given this amazing opportunity to showcase Bird Buddy is very humbling. As one of our co-founders, Franci Zidar, says:

”It is fantastic that our idea and Bird Buddy product has been recognized by the judges who are peerless in their expertise. We are excited for our future as we continue to reconnect people with nature, using smart technology and great design to bring joyful experiences.”.

We will let you know how everything goes next year!
